Charles Flint’s collecting passion started with antique bottles he found in  local cellar holes as a boy growing up in Lee MA.  His passion for  collecting has never subsided but the scope has grown exponentially!   In the following fifty-three years Charles Flint has built a thriving fine art  and antique business, carefully studying and researching each new area of interest so that today he has both a broad and deep understanding of the fine art and antique market.

Charles Flint is very involved in the local community and has, over the years, sat on the boards of many local historical museums and institutes such as The Lenox Historical Society, Berkshire Hisorical Society (Arrowhead), Mount Lebanon New York Shaker Village (where he was Director for three years), The Berkshire Museum, Recording for the Blind, and the Antique Bottle Association.  He currently sits on the board of Arrowhead Museum (Berkshire Historical Society), Lenox Historical Society, and the Lee Bank Advisory Board.  His fine art and antique appraisal and authentication services have also been used by the Norman Rockwell Museum, Hancock Shaker Village, Edith Wharton Restoration (The Mount), the Clark Institute of Art Conservatory in Williamstown MA, Insurance companies, and of course many countless private customers.

Charles Flint is a leading fine art appraiser and authenticator of original works of art by Norman Rockwell and he has built one of the largest private collections of photographs of Norman Rockwell’s life in the Berkshires.
